8. What is the difference between a blog and a micro-blog?
Blogs are like personal diaries in online format. The blogs are a part of a website and or a complete website. Blogs are used to provide descriptive information, reviews and comments about a particular topic or social issue. In particular blogging includes informative and long posts as compared to microblogging.

A microblog is different from a traditional blog in the sense that its content is typically smaller in actual file size. Microblogs allow users to exchange small elements of content such as short sentences, individual images or videos. It includes text and instant messaging.

Wordpress is a blogging software package.

Using Twitter or one of its many clones in the corporate environment.

Yammer is one of the most populer enterprise micro-blogging service.

My favorite blog was probably Failblog. I know we as college students should have better things to do with our time, but it's just funny.
